Wheat flour - 1 cup (level)
Water - little less than 1/2 cup
Salt - 1/4 teaspoon
Cooking Oil - 2 tablespoons


Knead the flour using water and 1 tablespoon oil.
Once the dough is kneaded well, rub 1 tablespoon oil on the dough and keep for 15 mins. (Keeping for 15 mins is optional)
Then knead the dough well until soft and make into balls.

Heat Roti Maker and Tawa.
Place one ball in Roti Maker and press.
Turn the chapati over once.
Then transfer chapati to Tawa. Lightly press and allow to rise into a ball. Toss and cook on both sides.

This method makes softer chapatis than when making just with the Rotimaker alone. The chapatis stay soft for more than a day.
